I am looking for young workers interested in rural farming experiences on organic community land. The age group is important, 18 - 24 year old and they must be registered with WINZ.
The applicants need to be prepared to work for 30 hours per week doing rural farming projects for the next 6 months. This project is being run in Ahipara and will incorporate upskilling in the knowledge of Te Rarawa hapu and iwi protocols as an important part of their programme.
The basic foundation of the project is to develop an organic community garden in Ahipara.
